The Homewood City Council has denied developer Mike Moseley’s request to build on a natural buffer on Hena Street, reports the Homewood Star.
The buffer, which backs into some Wildwood commercial buildings and surrounding residential streets, is part of a covenant agreement between the owners of Wildwood and the city.
Moseley had requested to purchase 50 feet of the buffer on one side of his property at 123 Hena Street to be rezoned for five homes on 1.5 acres.
