The $92.6 million Bellmont Promenade project in Shawnee received rezoning approval from the city’s planning commission Tuesday evening after revamping its plans several months ago, the Shawnee Mission Post reports.
The rezoning will convert about six acres from commercial highway to mixed-use and must now receive approval from the city council.
