Vatterott Educational Centers Inc. said Monday that all its locations, including three in the Memphis area, would close, effective immediately.
The private chain of vocational schools said in a letter to students that changes in “economic and regulatory conditions in recent years” prompted the move. It said it couldn’t continue operations “under these restrictions” and couldn’t complete the sale.
Vatterott officials did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
