An entity affiliated with Maruito USA paid $30 million to acquire a small retail building on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki, setting a new record price-per-square-foot for land in Hawaii’s tourism mecca.
The property at 2184 Kalakaua Ave., which is one door from the corner of Lewers Street between Prada and Max Mara, is 1,822 square feet, with a two-story retail building that has a total of 2,910 square feet on the two floors.
