Wilmington Air Park has had its share of ups and downs. The Clinton County site made national headlines in 2008 when German shipping company DHL Express announced it would cut thousands of jobs at the air park, which formerly housed a distribution center. Almost a decade later in February 2017, it suffered another blow when Amazon.com decided to open its $1.5 billion air hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport instead of in Wilmington, resulting in the loss of some 300 potential jobs.…
