Nine vehicles that were set ablaze in the Mount Vernon business district early Friday have left the community’s leaders in a state of shock.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Gary Tuggle said police were investigating the arsons of seven vehicles that were torched directly and two others that caught fire as a result in the Midtown community around 3 a.m.
The cars were parked along Charles, St. Paul, Lanvale and Eager streets and were totally destroyed.
