The Metropolitan Council has paid $27.5 million for about eight miles of rail line in St. Louis Park that will become a pathway for the Southwest Light Rail.
The sale closed Dec. 11, according to a certificate of real estate value made public Thursday. Soo Line Railroad is the seller.
