Land passes from Blue Star to Northland Properties for new Las Colinas hotels

Northland Properties, a Canadian company headed by Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi, is planning two hotels in Irving.

As reported by the Dallas Morning News, Northland has purchased 7.5-acre sites for the lodgings at a 36-acre mixed-use project on the corner of State Highways 141 and 161 in the Las Colinas neighborhood. The acreage is part of a development planned by Jerry Jones’ real estate company Blue Star Land.
