Gwynedd Mercy University has nearly doubled its footprint by purchasing a 154-acre property adjacent to its Spring House campus on Sumneytown Pike that was put up for sale last year by Merck & Co.
The property includes 157,000 square feet of space and the purchase will allow the university to nearly double its footprint — expanding to 314 acres. The deal was completed Dec. 4 and financial terms were not disclosed.
