A Birmingham bar offering funky and sour wild ales is relocating.
The Sour Room at Avondale Brewing Co. closed New Year’s Eve and plans to reopen at 207 41st St. S. in about eight weeks. Build out work is expected to begin in a week’s time.
Along with a new band green room, The Sour Room will be located in the back portion of the former Demarais Automotive space between the Avondale Brewing taproom and Post Office Pies. A new door will lead straight from the tap room to the Sour Room.
