Amazon announced it will build its first Mississippi fulfillment center in Marshall County, continuing its build-out of its distribution network.
The e-commerce giant announced that it will bring 850 jobs to the northern Mississippi county, which is just across the border from Fayette County and close to crucial infrastructure such as I-269 and hubs such as the Norfolk Southern Intermodal rail yard in Rossville and Memphis International Airport.
