Montgomery County has 143 shopping centers and, recent data shows, most of them – a cluster of 13 – are in Abington while Montgomeryville has a dozen.
Both Upper Merion and Lower Merion each have 11 shopping centers, according to recent Montgomery County Planning Commission data. But Upper Merion, home to the King of Prussia Mall, has the most amount of retail space with 4.6 million square feet.
