One of Birmingham’s most popular districts is about to add another feather to its cap.
Sloss Real Estate said Pepper Place will begin its designation as an entertainment district in February. The designation allows participating businesses in the area with alcohol licenses to sell alcohol to be consumed off-premises within certain boundaries and hours.
The Birmingham City Council approved the designation 9-0 after a public hearing Jan. 15.
