The owner of Mr Gatti’s Pizza, an Austin-born chain in business for half a century, has filed for bankruptcy.
Sovrano LLC filed Jan. 4 for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas with liabilities of $10 million to $50 million, federal court records show.
Sovrano is an affiliate of Fort Worth-based private equity firm FundCorp Inc., according to the Dallas Business Journal, which reports Mr Gatti’s as having about 100 locations in several states.…
