With little fanfare and even fewer details, the Goodyear City Council approved a rezoning request on land owned by Microsoft Corp. this week to allow for light industrial uses, 60-foot metal buildings and chain link fences on the property.
Throughout the council’s meeting, the computer industry giant was never mentioned by name and the project was only referred to as “PHX 10-11.”
