Hull Street Blues Cafe, a quintessential old-school Baltimore bar and restaurant known for its Sunday brunch buffet, seafood and steamship round, isn’t for sale despite an auction notice posted online, the owner said Monday.
Dan Macatee said a legal mix-up over the property’s mortgage led to the foreclosure auction notice on Alex Cooper Auctioneers website. The notice lists a Jan. 29 auction of the property at 1222 Hull St. in the fast-gentrifying Locust Point neighborhood.
