A Northside developer is in the midst of an $800,000 overhaul of a former factory in the neighborhood, which will be converted into an events space focused on weddings.
Grey Rock Development, whose principals are husband and wife Sarah Thomas and Chris Pohlar, is redeveloping 1546 Knowlton St. into The Factory, a 30,000 square foot, two-story structure that already has artists’ studios on the second floor with an events center planned for the first floor and a renovated courtyard/garden.
