Boston-based Advent International has acquired a majority stake in Plano, Texas–based third-party hotel operator, according to a release.
The two have entered into a definitive agreement for Advent to purchase the majority interest in Aimbridge Hospitality of Plano, Texas. Aimbridge will retain its minority stake.
Advent is buying the majority interest from private equity firm Lee Equity Partners and investor General Atlantic, which have backed Aimbridge since 2013 and 2015.
