The Germantown Country Club announced its plans to close in a letter to its members.
The country club sits on 179 acres between Wolf River Boulevard and Farmington Boulevard. The closure will take place Feb. 28, according to the letter.
The club is owned by the Mary Anderson Revocable Living Trust, according to the Shelby County Assessor of Property. Anderson died in June, and the letter is signed by “The Family of Ken and Mary Anderson.” The trustee recommended the club close, the letter said.
