Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m new to this…
So I have a piece of land with a small home/ vacation cabin on it. I don’t live there, but I stay there from time to time. It could be a good starter home for a couple but it’s pretty small. It’s within view of a popular, nice lake. Unrestricted deed with no HOA.
A guy came in and bought the lot next to me, and now wants to buy my adjoining lot. I have 2 lots and he wants to buy the one without the house.
I told him I’d only sell the entire place. He was still interested.I think it’s a pretty hot market in the area. It used to be rural-ish and now they are starting to develop more and more. I also don’t want to sell now and in a year it’s worth 2x’s what it is now of course.
To get an honest appraisal should I just go through a real estate agent, or is there another, more appropriate service to use?
