Obviously I am really upset and I’m trying to figure out next steps. That was THEE property we wanted. We were the top offer but as the title suggests, they didn’t like our “merely” 30% down. The truth is we could have put more down, but I didn’t think it was an issue. I couldn’t pay all cash, but I could have been at least 50% down. No other contingencies. No appraisal. I don’t see why the seller couldn’t just wait two more weeks to get thousands of more dollars but that’s amore.
I’m just so devastated and had to get it out somewhere.
