So we live in lubbock county, and are outside of the city limits. We have one acre and the square lot has a wood fence around it. It’s in bad shape in spots and I need to fix it.
My neighbors driveway and mine end where the fence starts. They want to build a pole barn there and I am happy for the’ I want one as well. I have no issue with the barn I like the added privacy to our yard from their yard as the buildings bigger and more durable than a fence.
They want to build it on the property line so the first 50 feet of fence would come down and the side wall of the barn would be there. I have no issue with this at all as I think if they build 2-5 feet over and keep the fence that would be a out of sight storage area that junk collects, weeds trees ect, the gap between the fence and barn is just wasted
Legally would I have any issue with allowing. The fence to be replaced with the building wall? Any other suggestions
He can build over a foot so either way it’s going up, I just think it’s silly to have that wasted area between the fence and his Barn
