Like the heading says, we opted to contact the listing agent directly. The address was undisclosed and we were one foot away from moving towards a different market when this property popped up so it made sense for us. We have worked with two area realtors and neither have earned our trust.
For better or worse, we went rogue.
We love the house and we are quite certain we will be making a serious offer this evening after viewing.
I know dual agency isn’t legal so we are proceeding with caution.
Does it work in our favor or hurt us to possibly have the listing agent become the transaction broker?
What else do we need to know?
Our full approval is in hand. We have an incredible lender and we know how to figure out our strongest possible offer. We just don’t know how to physically do that if we decide to write it up ourselves. Where would I even find that paperwork?
