Using a friend as realtor

This friend of mine wants to sell my house. I will be selling it quite soon.

She’s been in real estate for several years now, but has only sold one condo, and one house. She is with a realty company.

I’ve never been in real estate and don’t know much about it, but it seems like only selling a couple of properties over a period of 3-4 years is not that great of a track record. My spouse wants to go with a more experienced realtor. I don’t know what to do at this point. I was thinking a long time ago, she’d give up real estate so this would not be an issue (Her wanting to sell my house). But she has not given up. 1) Can an inexperienced realtor sell a home and get a good price for it, and 2) could we try the realtor out but if they aren’t working out for us, just switch to working with someone else
