[US-IL] Why isn’t there higher interest in this home?

Hey there everyone, hoping this community can paint some light on a friend’s homeselling woes.

Someone I know is trying to sell their home right now – actually, has been trying for the past 2 years now on and off with different agents. Home is in a secluded area that is less than a 20 minutes’ drive from downtown Chicago (North Park/Sauganash), built in 2001, it’s a 6 bed 4.5 bath home with typical features for a higher-end house (granite bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, fireplace, jacuzzi, sauna, finished basement, etc). I’m kinda stumped as to why it isn’t selling or garnering a larger interest – they told me they haven’t had a single person interested in viewing the home, despite relatively high view count for ads that ran recently (although click through seemed low).

I can imagine it might be a number of things:

Photos could be better

Property tax might be a bit high

One of the bigger homes in the neighborhood

House style might be dated

I’ve heard this is a hot market, although I think that primarily applies more so to bungalows than anything else.

If anyone would like to offer their two cents, here’s a link to the home on zillow: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/4314-W-Summerdale-Ave-Chicago-IL-60630/3638609_zpid/
