Good afternoon everyone! I’m a new agent in the Northern Virginia market. I’m having a very tough time with unresponsive buyers and would like some advice. I’ve done a pretty decent job at getting my potential clients to sign an agreement with me. My problem is after they have signed with me I hardly ever hear back from them. I attempt to contact them through text, email, phone calls and get little to no responses for weeks/months.
I have eight different clients signed up with me and only two of the eight have been responsive in the slightest. I feel like I’m doing something wrong. My team gets leads from Zillow and we get quite a bit every week. A lot of the leads don’t want to get pre-approved until we find the “right house” I feel like I’m wasting my time. How can I stress the importance of the pre-approval more?
For someone who has been in the industry for some time, how often do you follow up? Do you typically use emails, phone calls, texts? I’m just so frustrated with myself. I’m confident that I have a good skill set to introduce myself but lack the skills that come after. I would love some advice or insight on this.
