Listed our house for 259k and accepted an offer for 275k which I feel it won’t appraise for. The buyers just had their inspection and came back with a laundry list of repair requests.
Replace concrete driveway Replace concrete around pool Replace garage roof (which was disclosed that it would need replaced) Repair chimney flashing and cap Trim a tree too close to house have an HVAC tech inspect furnace
The concrete was visible when the buyers put in their offer and the garage roof leak was disclosed. Are these requests valid? I am not planning on replacing the driveway for them or the pool concrete but could probably take care of a few of their requests. Would I be better off just reducing their purchase price to what asking was? Or maybe 255k if they agree to it. We NEED to sell this house as we are purchasing a house also.
The house was built in 1955 and we’ve completely gutted and remodeled the kitchen and two bathrooms as well as the family room.
