So I found two condos in the exact same gated community with the same sqft (1400) size, but different floor plans. One has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and the other has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a loft. The one with the loft (the cheaper unit) has a somewhat less desirable floor plan. The more expensive unit has some upgrades to the house but nothing special. Should the price difference be that huge? Zillow Zestimate is also estimating it to be a 50K difference. Both units have a standard 2 car garage. The conditions of both units are somewhat similar but I would say the more expensive unit has been kept in better condition. So what’s going on? Am I missing something? The less expensive unit has more views and interest vs the more expensive unit according to zillow.
EDIT: both units have a 2nd floor and all bedrooms and loft(s) are on the 2nd floor. I’m living in Southern California.
