Hey Redditor Real Estate gurus – I have a question about timing of listing.
We’ve been planning to list our house in October. Here in Denver, the weather is free nearly still pleasant, and if we get snow, it’s usually gone within a day or two. We had worked out a timeline with our agent to list on the 14th, but the packing and projects have damn near killed us this last week.
We’re toying with the idea of doing this all a bit more strategically and methodically and listing on the 28th. Is it better to have things done, and done well, and list 2 weeks later? Or just get it on the market ASAP, even if certain things don’t get done?
Obviously I know this is a very niche question, but hoping some other perspectives can help us decide. Thanks!
