Thinking about relocating out of Los Angeles..

I’m a 25 year old single male with no kids and I’ve saved up roughly 23k cash I have no debt and want to purchase my first home to live in. I already know I’m out the ball park for buying in California so I’ve started looking at cheaper locations like Oklahoma, Ohio, Nebraska, Missouri, and Arkansas. I’ve been searching and finding decent homes for under 100k but I’m questionable about the locations and weather I’ve lived in Los Angeles my entire life I was wondering if y’all have any tips or what you would do if you were in my position. I have no certification or degrees so I would have to find work or start my own business in this new location.
