My aunt and uncle have owned their home for about 20 years now recently I was looking at the auditor records and noticed that under sales the deed says survivorship deed and if you look at the history it looks like the previous owner bought the house from his deceased spouse, but the purchase was actually my aunt and uncle when they bought the house. The auditor lists my aunt and uncle as the owner though so I’m not sure what’s going on? I’m worried that their deed may be screwed up and i’m worried that the previous owner still has an interest in the home without my relatives knowing.
