Success after the hustle

I’ve been looking for another house after getting a project with less than desirable neighbors. So after 50 showings in two states, 5 rejected offers, I got one under contract.

And by just luck too, the sellers refused a bidding war. Offered 5k over list, cash, no inspection, close in 15 days. Also included a love letter, was the only non investor making an offer. House needs 2k in repairs(new carpet or vinyl floors) and I got it for 30 to 50k below comps. Same house 6 streets away with a big case of matte gray paint and new home cheapo kitchen just went under contract for 80k more and it doesn’t have natural gas or ac like mine.

Now to breath, write a not too big check and have a home for the first time in 8 years
