Hi everyone! I purchased a new build for 380k on April 1, 2021. I put down only 9% (~34k) at the time. Since then, Zillow now says my house is worth 443k.. I know I should take this with a big grain of salt… But my lender says if I can get an appraisal and pay the difference, I can just drop the PMI ~$115/month.
Thoughts? Is it too early and is the Zillow estimate too sketch to try? Just not sure if I should waste the ~500$ on the appraisal for it to come way short. I have money to pay off the difference if the appraisal comes back decent.
