Selling in a year… Solar panel PPA bad idea?

Pretty much title.

I like the idea of solar but I’d rather buy them with cash than do any sort of lease/loan/whatever.

Since I’m planning to sell in a year, cash is a bad idea.

So a solar salesman introduced me to a PPA lease plan, which is apparently cheaper than the baseline case of not having panels at all.

Salesman said it would actually increase the value of home and that people WANT to buy PPA leases because they’re cheaper, especially if you get in early.

I said no, but I’d think about it.

What do buyers think about solar panels with PPA leases?
