Selling house, title issue, no spouse to spouse assumption and half interest suddenly in question

I am trying to sell a house and the title company ran into an issue. I bought the house from a widow and turns out there is no paperwork trail saying when her husband died a decade prior to her death that his half interest went to her. She then lived in the house for about a decade, sold me the house, then passed away. Now I’m finding out I basically own half a house. Anyone have experience with this and what to expect? Thank you.
