Selling house of deceased parent

I am hoping you can help me out with this one.

I have a sibling and our parent passed away a few years ago. We’ve decided to sell the house and I want to make sure I do it correctly. We get along great and will be splitting everything 50/50.

I was the executor of the estate but I don’t know who is now listed as the official owner. I have been in a mental daze the past few years and anytime I have to deal with stuff involving death I get very overwhelmed. I feel I am in a much better place now and can work clearly through this.

What is the fastest way to find out who is listed on the deed now? Our parent died without a will so we had to go through a long process to get the house in our name but tbh I have been in a daze up until now. What is the usual process?

What advice do you have for paying the least bit in taxes? Do you have to pay taxes on whatever the house was purchased for vs. the current estimate?

What is the best way to get the house evaluated for its value?

Any tips/tricks you have would be really appreciated!
