Selling advice

My house is currently listed for sale. It went live this past Saturday and has now been on the market for 4 days. The original listing stated offers were due Sunday June 5. We have had 14 showings and have 3 more scheduled for tomorrow. We have 1 offer in hand and a couple more expected so far. My realtor is suggesting we create urgency and has moved the offer due date up to tomorrow.

We have only had 1 weekend for showings and it was a holiday weekend which I think may have suppressed traffic. We are also unable to do late showings on weeknights because we have a young baby and showings after 6:30 are just too hard to make work. I am concerned the new offer deadline is rushed and we may be missing a lot of potential buyers who don’t have the job flexibility to make it during the week and didn’t have a weekend opportunity because of the holiday.

I’m also not a realtor and have no idea what I’m talking about. Are my concerns valid? I want to trust the pros but am just looking for other professional opinions.
