Selling A Home With Co-Agent

I’m a new realtor and considering selling my family home that is paid off to put towards another home purchase. Can you co-list with an agent from another brokerage or negotiate a lesser 1.5 % fee? Basically my though was to co-list it with a long time seasoned agent close family friend of mine since I’ve never listed a property yet; that way they can guide me and still take a cut. I don’t think they would ask me for the full 2.5% so I was thinking either ask her to do it for me which I have a feeling that she would be happy to help and maybe it would be less stress on me? or both list the home together so I could learn along the way. Is it PC to present a lesser fee like this, since I’d be giving her a listing?

Thoughts? I haven’t presented the idea yet but seeing this friend next week. Please forgive any naivety here…just thinking out loud
