RedfinNow Feedback as a Seller

Good morning all –

Has anyone had any recent experience with RedfinNow as a seller? I’ve read the posts that I’ve been able to locate on Reddit, along with all of the website reviews from Nerdwallet.com and others, and it seems like the biggest drawback to using RN (or another iBuyer) is that the offers tend to be lower than going on the market.

In our case, the offer is very competitive. We’ve moved past the inspections and photos, and have a sales contract that states our original offer amount (no repair costs based on inspection). However, the first real estate attorney we’ve used said the contract is garbage and is an absolute scam to string us along and never actually close on the house (and then proceeded to suggest we speak to his friend, a realtor.). Of the (few) reviews I’ve been able to read, no one has mentioned that RN was a scam or never closed on the purchase of the home. Not to say it hasn’t happened, but I can’t find anyone saying that is the case.

Does anyone have any recent experience with RN that can give their input?
