I set up an appointment to see a house that has been used as a rental and I’d like to turn this into a learning opportunity.
I’m getting the impression there is something very wrong because the realtor hasn’t been in the house and knows nothing about the house because the home owner signed some kind of waiver. I called the city and they said the house is approved to be a rental through 2025 and it meets city standards as a rental. The pictures look really nice for a house built in 1890.
Does any of this sound normal? I’m not sure I want to bother hiring a contractor until I understand what this waiver means.
