Radon in house

Hello, we are buying a home and did a radon test and it came back a little over 10 pC/li. The inspector said that the EPA recommends remediation over 4 PC and recommends remediation. (This was in the basement).

Getting a radon removal system in place wouldn’t be too much money, but am curious if it’s safe to just remove it all and live there. Does it actually remove all of it, does it stick to stuff that’s on the house, etc.

Is this a deal breaker usually or is it a simple and safe fix?
