Got a counter offer on a house in LA. The listing agent initially told my agent that she was NOT going to counter all offers; she was only going to counter a few serious, “top” offers. The house got 11 offers and in her email, the agent said they are going to counter all 11 offers. Can anyone give me insight as to why there might have been a change in strategy? Is it because all of the offers were in the same range? Or, because she didn’t get the number they were hoping for? Anything you could offer would be helpful! Thank you!!
