The main issue is that the AC has now failed. We are in Texas and this isnt uncommon but seriously this house has been under constant repair since Snowmaggedon last year.
My question is this – We were quoted $7K to fix or $1`1K to replace the AC. Would it make any sense to replace the unit and relist the home at a higher price to offset the new AC costs?
Currently the house is $385K she got a few offers in the low $400K range but they pulled out one by one when our agent contacted them.
Ideas?
