Currently leasing a home that the owner wants to sell. I’m interested in buying it. Her brother is an agent, so the sales-side will be covered by him. I’ve agreed to not hire an agent for my side in return for a commensurate (3%) reduction in the sales price.
What’s my best option? Just find/hire a RE attorney to review all the docs before I sign? Is it common for this lawyer to be present at closing as well?
