I recently sold my late father’s house this month. It was an “As Is” sale.
Buyer has texted me (we swapped numbers to coordinate me getting my big ass granite rock) there are no hardwood floors under the carpet. Turns out, the realtors put there was in the ad.
We told the realtors “We don’t think there are, you’d have to check.” but somehow they put there was hardwood in the entire house. I told him as such, and he brought up possible legal action.
What happens here? I’m about to possibly take the sellers of my house to small claims court, so this was an unwelcome surprise.
