I live in California and there are 2 bedrooms upstairs without smoke detectors, although there is one in the hallway where the bedrooms are located, will the appraiser mark his appraisal as incomplete due to the smoke detectors not being up on the walls? I’m scared because she said this will delay the sale of my house and the house that I plan on purchasing may back out if we have to wait for another appraisal.
