Murder house

Long story short, I’ve found myself living in a murder house. Upon forst visit to this property, the listing agend noted how the seller listed their childhood home after their mother died. Ok cool, instinctively I ask “did she die here?”

Listing agent gave affirmative “no” and we assumed the elderly lady had been in a care home and recently died. The house condition pointed to it having been empty for some time.

Well after some instances since moving in, I felt compelled to google “news + (my address)” and was met with an article explaining the brutal murder of the lady of the house. 25 years ago. Obviously this is past any obligation of disclosure, which my state doesn’t have anyways. However, my state does have a clause that if asked, the realtor can not obstruct the truth. I flat out asked if the lady died here and was blantantly lied to. (Finding out that it was a violent murder by a neighbor-and the body sat for days before being found- yeah even worse)

So what now. Would hiring a real estate lawyer do me any good? Can I sue the listing agent / her company / the seller? We obviously wouldn’t have bought the house, at the price we paid, if we had been told the truth about this.
