Ok, in my mind, there’s no rational reason to believe that Mercury retrograde has any impact on closings, just like full moons have no real impact on what happens in ERs.
However…. What’s your experience?
I’m selling a house, and had two offers fall through that would have closed during the upcoming retrograde. I’m likely going under contract today that won’t close until early November, and aside from just wanting to be done, I have no real reason to complain about the delay. But since it means closing after retrograde is over, I’m trying to tell myself…. “Hey, self, just in case Mercury retrograde is real, it’s great that closing will be after it’s done!” (It’s 9/27-10/18.)
In other words, to me, it’s only worth paying attention to when it’s convenient. And yes, I do toss a pinch of spilled salt over my shoulder from time to time.
