We bought a house and the estimated completion time is Nov/Dec with Lennar. Now we are facing a decision of renting for how long before the new house is ready.
If the estimated completion time is fairly accurate, we will rent for 7 months and move in around Jan 1st 2023.
If the estimated completion time is usually off, we will rent for 9 months and move in around Mar 1st 2023.
If the estimated completion time is usually way off, we will rent for 12 months and move in around Jun 1st 2023.
What are your recommendations? We don’t want to rent twice, but we also don’t want to waste a lot of rent.
