[Florida, USA] We first noticed a leak coming out of our garage. We hired a plumbing and leak inspection company and they deduced that there could be a leak behind wall of the water heater pipes and/or underneath the floors next to the garage. See area.
We were quoted $9000.00 for the entire inspection, repair, and potential replacement if necessary.
What should we do? Do we contact our home insurance?
If so, do we let them send their own inspector and repair? Or should we have quote/documents beforehand?
